Build Financial Skills That Actually Matter

Programs starting September 2025 and January 2026

Most people learn about money the hard way. Through mistakes, confusion, and stress. We think there's a better approach. Our programs help you understand budgeting, investing, and financial planning through realistic scenarios and practical exercises.

No guarantees about getting rich. Just honest education from people who've spent years helping others make sense of their finances.

Three Ways to Learn With Us

Everyone's schedule looks different. Some folks can dedicate evenings after work. Others need weekend flexibility. A few prefer learning at their own pace, fitting modules around family commitments or irregular work hours.

We've designed three distinct tracks because forcing everyone into one learning format never made sense to us. Pick what matches your life right now.

Program Coordinator

Been helping people figure out which program fits them since 2019. Most common question? Whether they need prior finance knowledge. Answer's always no. We start from wherever you are.

Structured Evening Track

Twice weekly sessions over twelve weeks. Live instruction with group discussions. Works well if you like scheduled learning and benefit from real-time interaction.

  • Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 18:30 to 20:30
  • Cohort of 15-20 participants
  • Direct instructor access during sessions
  • Group project work and peer feedback

Weekend Intensive Track

One Saturday per month over six months. Deeper dives into each topic with breaks for discussion. Better for people who prefer concentrated learning blocks.

  • First Saturday of each month, 09:00 to 16:00
  • Smaller groups of 10-12 people
  • Extended case study analysis
  • Monthly assignments between sessions

Self-Paced Track

Complete modules whenever suits you over six months. Includes optional monthly check-ins. Good for irregular schedules or people who like controlling their learning speed.

  • 24/7 access to all materials
  • Monthly optional video calls with instructors
  • Private community forum for questions
  • Flexible completion timeline

How Time Commitments Actually Work

The honest bit nobody mentions enough: learning takes time. Here's what each format really asks of you, beyond just showing up.

Financial planning workspace with charts and analysis
Evening Track

Total Investment: 90 Hours

4 hours per week across 12 weeks

Two evening sessions plus homework and practice exercises. Most participants spend an extra hour per week reviewing materials and working through examples. The rhythm becomes routine after the first couple of weeks.

Regular momentum keeps concepts fresh
Weekly deadlines maintain progress
Live interaction clarifies confusion quickly
Group accountability helps completion
Weekend Track

Total Investment: 85 Hours

7 hours monthly session plus assignments

Six full Saturday sessions with coursework between meetings. Participants typically need 8-10 hours per month for assignments and reading. The spacing lets you absorb material deeply before moving forward.

Concentrated learning in focused blocks
Time to implement between sessions
Deeper exploration of complex topics
Balanced with monthly life rhythm
Self-Paced

Total Investment: 75 Hours

Flexible across 6 months

Complete modules when it works for you. Some weeks you might spend ten hours, others none. The flexibility means you control intensity. Takes discipline but works brilliantly for unpredictable schedules.

Learn during your peak focus times
Pause and resume without falling behind
Revisit difficult sections as needed
Adapt to changing work demands

Support Systems We've Built

Learning finance concepts can feel isolating. These three elements help people actually finish programs instead of giving up halfway through.

Instructor Office Hours

Every instructor holds open hours twice weekly. No appointments needed. Drop in with questions, struggles, or just to talk through concepts. Sometimes you need five minutes of clarification, other times a longer conversation about how principles apply to your specific situation.

  • Monday evenings 19:00-20:00
  • Wednesday mornings 08:00-09:00
  • Video or phone, your preference
  • No question too basic or advanced

Peer Study Groups

We match participants into groups of four or five based on learning style and availability. These groups become study partners, accountability buddies, and often friends. Some meet weekly, others communicate through chat. The format's yours to decide.

  • Matched during first week of program
  • Private group channels for communication
  • Suggested discussion guides provided
  • Optional social meetups organized

Resource Library Access

Beyond course materials, you get access to our collection of calculators, templates, and guides. Budget spreadsheets, investment comparison tools, debt payoff planners. All the practical stuff that helps you apply what you're learning to actual decisions.

  • Updated monthly with new tools
  • Customizable to your circumstances
  • Video tutorials for each resource
  • Lifetime access after program completion
Declan Ashford, Senior Instructor

Declan Ashford

Senior Instructor

Started teaching these programs in 2017 after spending a decade in financial planning. What I've learned: people don't need more information, they need help making sense of it. My office hours usually fill up because participants appreciate having someone who'll answer the same question three different ways until it clicks. That's what education should be.
