Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2025
At delisovra, we treat your personal information with the care it deserves. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We're based in the United Kingdom and follow UK GDPR requirements – which means your data stays protected under some of the strictest privacy laws around.
Who We Are
delisovra operates at Unit 15B L10, Petergate Mall, The Broadway, Bradford BD1 1HA, United Kingdom. We provide finance tools and resources to help people manage their financial lives better. When you use our services, you're trusting us with information about yourself – and we don't take that lightly.
For any questions about how we handle your data, you can reach our team at support@delisovra.com or call +447701082969.
What Information We Collect
We only gather what we actually need. Here's what that looks like in practice:
Information You Give Us Directly
- Your name and contact details when you create an account
- Payment information if you subscribe to our services
- Questions or feedback you send through our contact form
- Profile preferences and settings you choose
Information We Collect Automatically
- Device and browser type – helps us make sure things work properly
- IP address and general location (city level, not your exact address)
- Pages you visit and features you use on our site
- Date and time of your visits
We don't collect sensitive financial account credentials. Our tools work with information you choose to input manually, and we never ask for your banking passwords.
How We Use Your Information
Everything we collect has a purpose. We're not in the business of hoarding data for the sake of it.
Providing Our Services: The obvious one. We need your email to send you login links, and your payment info to process subscriptions. Your usage patterns help us understand which tools people find most helpful.
Improving What We Offer: When we see that everyone struggles with a particular feature, that tells us something needs work. We look at aggregate patterns, not individual behavior.
Communication: Updates about your account, responses to your questions, occasional emails about new features you might find useful. You control what emails you receive.
Security and Fraud Prevention: Watching for suspicious activity keeps everyone safer. If someone tries logging in from three different countries in one hour, we'll flag that.
We base our processing on legitimate interests, contractual necessity, and your consent where required. That's the legal language – what it means is we only use your data in ways that make sense for the service you signed up for.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies. Some are essential (you can't log in without them), while others help us understand how people use the site.
Cookie Type | Purpose | Duration |
---|---|---|
Essential | Keep you logged in, remember your preferences | Session or 1 year |
Analytics | Help us see which features get used most | 2 years |
Functional | Remember your settings between visits | 1 year |
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Just know that blocking essential cookies will break some functionality.
Who We Share Data With
We're pretty protective of your information. We don't sell it to advertisers or share it with random third parties. But running a service does require working with some partners:
- Payment processors handle transactions securely – we never see your full card details
- Cloud hosting providers store our data in UK-based servers
- Email service providers help us send account notifications and responses
- Analytics tools show us anonymized usage patterns
All these partners are bound by strict data protection agreements. They can't use your information for their own purposes.
We might share information if legally required – like responding to a valid court order. We'll always notify you unless we're legally prevented from doing so. In four years of operation, we've received exactly two such requests and challenged one successfully.
International Data Transfers
Your data primarily stays within the United Kingdom. When we do work with service providers outside the UK or EU, we ensure they provide equivalent protection through standard contractual clauses approved by UK authorities.
We don't transfer data to countries without adequate protection laws unless absolutely necessary and with proper safeguards in place.
Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have real control over your information. These aren't just theoretical rights – we process these requests regularly:
Access Your Data
Request a copy of everything we hold about you. We'll provide it in a readable format within one month, usually much faster.
Correct Inaccuracies
If something's wrong in your profile, you can fix it yourself through account settings or ask us to correct it.
Delete Your Data
Request deletion and we'll remove your information, except where we have a legal obligation to retain it (like tax records for six years).
Restrict Processing
Ask us to hold your data without using it – useful if you're disputing accuracy or questioning how we process it.
Data Portability
Get your data in a format you can transfer to another service. We provide CSV exports of your account information.
Object to Processing
Tell us to stop using your data for specific purposes, particularly for marketing. We'll comply unless we have compelling legitimate grounds.
Withdraw Consent
Where we're processing data based on your consent, you can withdraw it anytime. This won't affect any processing we've already done.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@delisovra.com with your request. We'll verify your identity (usually by sending a confirmation to your registered email) and process it promptly. Most requests are completed within a week.
How We Protect Your Information
Security isn't just about technology – though we use plenty of that. It's about processes, training, and constant vigilance.
- All data transmissions use TLS encryption (that's the padlock you see in your browser)
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms – we can't see your actual password
- Our servers sit behind firewalls with restricted access
- Staff only access customer data when necessary to resolve specific issues
- We run regular security audits and vulnerability scans
- Automated backups happen daily, stored in geographically separate locations
Perfect security doesn't exist. But we work hard to make sure any breach would require significant effort and resources – not worth it for the type of data we hold.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We don't believe in keeping information forever "just in case." Here's our retention approach:
Data Type | Retention Period | Reason |
---|---|---|
Active account data | While your account exists | Necessary to provide service |
Closed account data | 90 days after closure | Allow for reactivation if you change your mind |
Financial records | 6 years | Legal requirement for tax purposes |
Support correspondence | 3 years | Reference for recurring issues |
Analytics data | 26 months | Understand long-term patterns |
After these periods, data is permanently deleted from our systems and backups. We document when deletions occur for accountability.
Children's Privacy
Our services aren't designed for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you're a parent and believe your child has given us information, contact us immediately and we'll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
Privacy laws evolve. Our services change. Sometimes we need to update this policy to reflect that reality.
When we make changes, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes that affect how we use your data, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. That gives you time to review the changes and decide if you're comfortable with them.
Continuing to use our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy. If you don't, you can close your account and we'll delete your data per our retention schedule.
Complaints and Concerns
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, talk to us first. Most concerns can be resolved through direct conversation.
But you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection authority. You can reach them at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
We'd appreciate the chance to address your concern before you contact the ICO, but it's your right to go directly to them if you prefer.
